Wilhelm Chung trained as electrical engineer in communication systems at University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne. In 2001, he went to work for Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab, and worked on sensor networks, spacecraft telemetry, embedded programming, radar modeling, logging software, and biomedical imaging. It is also there that he obtained a masters in CS. Though not a designer, he takes interest in aesthetics. Decentralized concepts in complex and emergent systems and programming language constructs are a fascination. He strives to provide simple solutions to hard problems.
